We keep a minimal inventory of build-to-suit lots. Our clients typically purchase their lots, but we can help guide you through the process.
Does Paul McMichael, Builder LLC have plans available? Or do I need to sit with an architect?
Both! We can either customize a plan from an existing library, or start from scratch. Drawing plans with an architect and designer is a highly collaborative process between the builder, client, and architectural team.
How do I finance a new construction home?
New home builds are typically financed through construction loans. We can connect you with our preferred lending partners, who can provide a more in-depth look at the process.
What type of down payment do you require? What does your payment structure look like?
How long does the custom build process take?
On average, the process takes about 8 months. We provide an estimated timeline at the start of your job, and operate within that schedule majority of the time.

Why do you restrict the number of homes built in a given year?
We maintain a relatively low volume of homes each year to maximize the experience for our clients. Our business model centers around a customer-focused experience and superior quality craftsmanship. We don’t want to overpromise. By setting limits to our work volume, overhead is kept at a minimum, so we can provide you the best possible pricing.
How are the home’s interiors selected? Do I have the opportunity to choose finishes and fixtures?
We work with you through each phase of the build to ensure you receive a one-of-a-kind custom home. If you choose, we collaborate with interior decorators and designers to create an atmosphere that is everything you envisioned.
